3D Design hacks the way we eat our dinner! – Presented by Nina Hoff, byFlow b.v. at the 3D Food Printing Conference, which takes place on June 28, 2017, at Villa Flora, Venlo, The Netherlands.
Printing in food is not as easy as printing in plastics, every material has his own design rules. The composition can change from day to day, like fresh fruits & vegetables. To go through the small nozzle while 3D Printing, some materials need to be melted, others need to be grounded. Some of them are to fluid and need to be mixed with stabilizers, others are to stiff and need to be mixed with fluids. Next to this the design of your dish is important for the experience and texture, printing lego cubes for children to let them play with their food, or a complex statue to amaze your customer.
