Eindhoven – Just like desktop 3D printers combined with software now allow non-engineers to operate them to their liking without any formal training,3D printed electronics will not only open the doors, but will completely remove the roof and enable one of the most impactful forms of creativity and innovation ever seen. 3D printed electronics will impact the future of sensors, printed circuit boards & semicon industry.

On January 28, 2020, internationally renowned specialists will gather at High Tech Campus Eindhoven to discuss the latest technological developments, current challenges and  prospects for the future during the 3D Printing Electronics Conference.

The program features internationally renowned speakers from Würth Elektronik eiSos, Hasselt University, Origin, VSL Dutch Metrology Institute, University of Hamburg, Profactor, KEX Knowledge Exchange AG and Youngstown State University, who will share their knowledge and expertise on a variety of topics related to 3D Printing Electronics.

The discussions will focus on topics such as: Inkjet-based fabrication of multilayer printed circuit boards with embedded printed passive elements | What do sensors, football helmets, electronics & 3D printing have in common? | Metrology for quality management of printed conductors, FDM-Printed Electronics and many more.

Furthermore, the conference also includes Project cases and pitches supported by Printed Electronics Netherlands / OP Zuid. During this session Julia Veldhuijzen van Zanten from LifeSense will talk about “Flexible electronics in healthcare wearables”, Corne Rentrop from Holst Centre will touch on the topic of 3D printing electronics ecosystem, while Henk van Broekhuyzen will expand on the ongoing work at DoMicro in the field of inkjet printed electronics. The session features six speakers in total.

In the networking area Neotech AMT, Metafas and Printed Electronics Netherlands will be exhibit their latest product developments.
